AIR TANK PRECAUTIONS:
IMPORTANT:
a.Theairsourcekitairtankisratedfor150PSImaximum
workingpressure.Donotoverll.Overllingmayresultin
deathorseriousinjury.
b.Tankisnottobeusedasabreathingdevice.
c.AlwayswearANSIapprovedsafetyglasseswhen
operating air tank.
d.Bleedpressurefromtankaftereachuse,andbefore
servicingoraddingattachments.
e.Useonlyattachmentsortoolsratedfor150PSIworking
pressure or less.
DRAIN TANK OFTEN TO REMOVE CONDENSATE.
FAILURE TO DRAIN TANK WILL ALLOW TANK TO
RUST INTERNALLY.
a.Toremoveanyaccumulatedcondensationinsidethetank,
bleedpressurefromtankuntilpressureisapproximately
5PSIto20PSI.
b.Drainwaterfromtankbyopeningthedraincockdrainvalve.
c.Ifdraincockisplugged,releaseallairpressurefromtank,
removedrainvalveandclean,thenreinstall.
d.Aftercondensatehasbeendrained,closethedraincock.
IMPORTANT:ObserveairtankDateofManufacture(stamped
ontankleg).Replaceairtank2to5yearsfromdateairtank
wasrstused,orusethedateofmanufactureasreference.
Youradherencetoairtankdrainingguidelineswilldetermine
thereplacementdateofyourairtank.RUSTEDTANKSCAN
FAILCAUSINGEXPLOSIONSORFATALINJURIES.Discard
tank immediately if tank is rusted.
NOTE: Whenusingasafetypressurereliefvalve,pointthe
safetypressurereliefvalveawayfromyourbody.Usethepull
ringonthesafetyreliefvalve;openthereliefvalvetoventany
pressureinsidethetankbeforeattemptingtoservicetank.
